Johnston Carmichael

Brand, communications and internal launch

Established in 1936, Johnston Carmichael is the largest independent accountancy firm in Scotland. With an ambition for growth, Johnston Carmichael's challenge was that the brand no longer expressed its personality, geographic spread and business proposition.

We carried out research and stakeholder workshops which informed the brief for a new brand identity, strapline, communication framework and tone of voice. All multi-channel external communications were refreshed and internal engagement activity took place through facilitated workshops at each of the 11 offices, exciting and equipping employees with an understanding of the new positioning and the tools to deliver it.

JLL

Employee value proposition

A Fortune 500 firm comprising 60,000 employees in over 80 countries, the organisation transitioned from Jones Lang LaSalle, to JLL in 2014. With the new name and identity launched and adopted globally, the business continued to perform outstandingly. But this market leadership could only be sustained if JLL kept attracting and retaining the very best talent from the real estate sector and beyond.

Working with JLL's HR and Marketing teams, we consulted with global stakeholders across the business to uncover the characteristics of the JLL employment experience. We expressed these through a distinctive EVP and employee communications framework, all brought to life in the new brand. 

 

Baker Tilly International

Annual Review

Baker Tilly International is a world-leading network of independently owned and managed accountancy and business advisory firms united by their commitment to provide exceptional client service. We were initially asked to create an online annual review that communicated their international presence and breadth of services and expertise.

Using their existing brand as a starting point, we were able to build a design framework that expressed their personality through a clear and simple design with carefully articulated messages and a strong, coherent narrative. The online review built the foundation for the printed report.

Graduate recruitment

As an award-winning top 20 law firm, DWF’s brand promise rests on the phrase ‘go further’. DWF needed its brand to speak to a savvy and ambitious generation of graduates to attract the right talent.

Our approach aimed to reflect a unique training experience – encapsulated by the phrase “Be different. #bedwf’. We explored the idea of standing out and changing perceptions.

We’re proud of our training contract and this stand-out creative says we can give graduates exactly the experience to kick-start their careers.
