The role

As a member of the Client Services team, you will take ownership in the management of key Annual Reporting projects for high profile clients. You are the external face of the agency and are responsible for communicating our client’s needs to the Creative and Production teams. You will be overseeing and checking the work that is done and pushing projects to completion across multiple deadlines.

You will show great attention to detail and strive to get things right the first time. To get the best out of clients and the wider team, it’s essential to build positive relationships by taking the time to listen and communicating effectively throughout the process.

You will naturally up-sell to clients with your confidence and understanding of their needs. Your ability to plan will keep you one step ahead but are also flexible enough to make changes and problem solve.

What You'll Be Doing In This Role

The responsibilities that we’ll trust you with in the role include:

  • Own and project manage multiple Annual Reporting projects with key clients and high budgets across varying deadlines
  • Deliver a high standard of service to maintain client satisfaction and exceptional feedback
  • Take the lead on all meetings while effectively managing the needs of our clients
  • Work collaboratively across all project teams, ensuring timely preparation of all required materials (briefs, paginations, estimates, schedules etc.)
  • Lead the delivery at each project stage, coordinating with suppliers, driving realistic conversations around budgets and ensuring that all work has been
  • Take ownership for meeting financial targets of each account, as well as utilisation and profitability of your team
  • Support the Client Service Director with the financial management of projects ensuring projects run on time, and assist with the client services invoicing
  • Ensure all financial processes are followed, with billing schedules, invoices and purchase orders
  • Consult with key stakeholders on their areas of specialism to drive strategic development with our clients
  • Participate in pitches for new clients while up-selling services and our expertise to existing clients
  • Be prepared to offer advice and insight into best practice reporting to your clients to meet their expectations and deliver work to a high-standard
  • Monitor team resources against workloads, ensuring that the right resources are in place to deliver on all account deadlines
  • Manage and mentor your own team of junior account managers and executives, and those across the department

What you’ll need to be successful in this role

  • You have over 5 years agency experience, (2 at AD level) specialising in Annual Reports and strategic communications, working with key accounts and the largest budgets
  • You have a broad understanding of latest reporting regulations and best practice trends
  • You have strong interpersonal and communications skills, and can build trust and respect both externally and internally
  • You possess and demonstrate excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills are essential
  • You are positive and with a can-do attitude and a good sense of humour
  • You are friendly and a team player who shows flexibility and a non-hierarchical approach with a positive attitude to get the job done well
