Junior Designer


At Emperor, the Designer is a conceptual thinker, able to create designs that are as eye-catching as they are functional.  Reporting to the Creative Director, the Designer collaborates with the studio team to deliver a range of integrated design solutions to a varied client base in the UK and beyond. 

Duties and responsibilities:

As part of a growing creative team, your role will involve working on various projects where you can show off your design skills and support the other designers. You will be involved in briefings, be asked to come up with mood boards and ideas and demonstrate what you can do in terms of your design skills. The role incorporates working across a number of disciplines, mainly page layout design such as annual reports and brochures, branding and digital media   

Skills required:

  • Agency experience would be good but not essential
  • Design qualifications
  • Understanding of good design, both in print and digital
  • An awareness of current trends and the ability to interpret into great (and relevant) ideas
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Have a proactive approach, we don’t want someone who waits for things to happen
  • Thrives in growing creative team
  • A good eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Builds positive relationships with colleagues and clients to achieve goals
