Production Assistant 


The Production Assistant is responsible for the smooth and effective running of our Midlands-based studio. This is a fast-paced, rapidly expanding, deadline-driven studio, mostly producing corporate annual reports.

There are many aspects to this role – allocating design resource, managing the proofreading schedule, assisting with the workflow structure, helping to review daily work schedules with the account managers and studio, ensuring work is delivered on deadline.


  • Resourcing of the design team.

  • An interface between the team (designers/account managers/artworkers). 

  • Supporting and working alongside the Production Services Manager and Creative Directors to improve the design scheduling process and communication.  

  • Participating in the daily and weekly scheduling meetings to ensure resourcing and allocation of work.

  • Keeping the studio design schedule up to date.

  • Managing the proofreading schedule.

  • Excellent communication skills – regularly liaison with account managers/production manager/creative directors. Communicates in a positive and easily understandable way internally and externally

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and quality expectations

  • Participates and contributes to objectives/work of team

  • Builds positive relationships and works with others to achieve goals

  • An understanding of how InDesign works is an advantage
