Brand launch

As a new adviser business from Standard Life, 1825 needed a new brand to define its personality, tone of voice, values and vision. Through workshops we created a dynamic visual and verbal identity, which we launched via an integrated media strategy comprising radio, Search Engine Marketing and digital display advertising. Ongoing measurement means we’ve made recommendations to further optimise conversion rates and deliver an engaging new brand for Standard Life.

A.G. Barr

Inspiring the people behind a Scottish icon
A.G. Barr makes Scotland’s other national drink, Irn Bru. They also know that a strong employer brand is as important as a consumer brand to the success of their business, and approached us to help make their brand values an integral part of employees’ everyday life.

Through a series of workshops, we helped define the personality of their brand. We created an employee brand toolkit and broad range of communications, which we made more meaningful by using individual employees as our brand champions.

All A.G. Barr employees now understand what the brand means to them personally in their role, which will help the business go from strength to strength in the long term.

Gillespie Macandrew

The legal definition of a successful brand

Gillespie Macandrew are a highly regarded, well known law firm and estate agency in Scotland. Client perception didn’t always reflect the dynamic talent and multitude of specialist services they offered. We worked closely with them to help reposition the firm. We spoke to clients, intermediaries and employees to gain a much deeper understanding of the added value the firm could offer.

That let us undertake a wholesale creative overhaul, which included a fresh visual and verbal identity, and a new brand position. Rolled out through advertising, brochures, internal and external launch events, and a newly designed website which has played a pivotal role in their ambitious programme of growth.

Cairn Energy

A local partner, building a global brand

Cairn Energy is a leading independent oil and gas exploration and development company, with whom we have developed a rewarding and evolving long-term relationship. We’ve been working together for over a decade creating investor-focused annual reports. Drawing on our in-depth knowledge and understanding of their business we have evolved our relationship to become their creative agency working collaboratively on a range of marketing and communications activities.

To date this has included investor and AGM presentations, recruitment materials, community and stakeholder engagement as they enter new geographic territories, brand & identity development, and ad hoc internal communications. More recently we designed and built their corporate website.
