In our lifetimes, there has probably never been a greater need to provide regular updates, on policy changes, strategic changes with their implications or just to remain visible. There has been a sharp increase in the use of video for stakeholder engagement, particularly for internal communications - most being created on a DIY basis. 

With advances in smartphone technology, we all have the ability to be filmmakers as never before - but we don't always get the basics right.
