Training and Development: Success
We're pleased to share that two of our employees, Sam Trillwood, Consultant and Harriet Palmer, Analyst, have both achieved high passes in the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL)'s Business Sustainability Management course.
This course is designed to address the growing need and prevalence of sustainability practices in business, exploring the challenges and opportunities for business and society, as well as the potential of technology and design as an enabler of sustainable business practices. The course also explores the power of stakeholder engagement, collaboration and partnerships in driving forward the sustainability agenda and aims to make ‘change agents’ of the delegates, equipping them with the tools to leverage change in their own organisations.
At Emperor, we’re committed to providing the best possible service and advice to our clients through career development. Our Pledge ‘We help you go beyond your potential’ identifies and helps to develop our ‘rising stars’. This is something that we plan to formalise this year, having witnessed first-hand how many of our young professionals have shone.
We place a huge focus on talent, and we introduce and invest in talented people through our ‘We give youth a chance’ Pledge that serves as one of our strategic pillars in our business. Read more about Our Pledges in our annual report.
Sam joined Emperor in 2018 and plays an instrumental part in our Insights team, providing Emperor's clients with advice around stakeholder communications and reporting. Sam also sits on Emperor’s Employee Board following our move to employee ownership last year.
Harriet first joined Emperor as a Growth & Sustainability Project Manager in 2019 and later moved to join the Insights team to help provide guidance and support to AIM and Small Cap companies, with a focus on sustainability. Harriet is also a Pledge Ambassador for the ‘We Give Back’ pledge and is extremely passionate about ensuring Emperor meets the goals set out for this pledge.
