Our recent presentation at the CGPro Network Virtual Event explored the role of corporate communications in demonstrating positive impact to stakeholders.

Change. It's everywhere right now. For good and bad. And business and corporate communications are anything but immune. From the increasing expectations of stakeholders around climate change, ways of working, mental health, engagement/wellbeing, and diversity and inclusion, to the growing threat of international war, supply chain shortages, adapting to Brexit, the energy crisis and soaring food prices – there is a huge amount to consider.

And this change was a key theme in my presentation to the CGPro Network Virtual Event last month, which saw inspiring corporate governance professionals gather to discuss, debate and explore some of today's topical issues.

What it boils down to, is stakeholders want companies to demonstrate a positive impact on the world around them. They're increasingly asking questions and holding businesses accountable for their actions around sustainability and the environment. The trick is how you show that – how you connect the disparate dots and show a joined-up, multi-channel story. Certainly, easier said than done.
