Effective storytelling
Lloyds Banking Group wanted its annual reporting suite to feel better connected: moving beyond compliance to show how its purpose, ‘Helping Britain Prosper’, links to commercial performance. At the same time, the full suite needed to transition into Workiva to improve efficiency behind the scenes.




Bringing balance
We focused on tightening the narrative, and purpose pillars were built directly into the strategic framework, with supporting content showing how the business delivers both commercially and for society. We cut duplication, sharpened the governance story and introduced more visual, outcomes-focused reporting. Across the Sustainability Report, the refined structure and dashboards highlight impact, linking activity to their strategy: grow, focus, change. The entire suite was rebuilt in Workiva, with templates designed to keep things consistent while making collaboration and updates easier. For efficiency and greater flexibility, AI was used to create a new visual of the iconic Lloyds Banking Group horse. We then brought this to life through animation as an expression of their momentum.








Visualising value
The final reporting suite is more connected, easier to navigate and brilliantly showcases how Lloyds Banking Group’s success enables reinvestment into customers, communities, and serves its purpose of Helping Britain Prosper. It gives a crystal-clear view of how strategy, performance and purpose fit together, alongside a simpler, more efficient way to produce it.
