Room for opportunity

Derwent London is one of London’s most innovative regenerators of office property. Their 5.5 million sq. ft. portfolio gives them the opportunity to make a material difference; environmentally, socially and through governance. They wanted to bring their responsibility strategy to life through a fully digital Responsibility Report. It needed to be intuitive, beautifully designed and accessible to all audiences. That’s a space we love working in.

Creating the space

We created a new home for their online reporting by introducing a modular design system that can be remixed and rescaled, again and again. Building on their brand’s bold look and feel, we created a multi-page, multi-faceted report that offers maximum transparency while inviting users to explore their deeper commitment to responsible business.

Building to last

Derwent’s design-savvy audiences are specialised and sophisticated. We designed great-looking interactive graphics that would appeal to their tastes and while getting data across quickly and clearly to anyone who wanted or needed to see it. Instead of a single report for a single year, we created a hub for online reporting that can evolve year after year on a new CMS platform. That’s sustainable digital design.

Accessibility standards reached

The report presents complex data together with engaging narrative in a truly digital environment, and allows visitors to download our data without us producing a separate print or PDF reports. It’s had a hugely positive impact on our business and shown how powerful and useful digital reporting can be.
